You can use store-bought pizza dough, but this recipe is a snap to make from scratch.
Combine water and sugar in food processor; cover and process to dissolve. Sprinkle yeast over water and pulse briefly to combine. Let stand until foamy (about 5 minutes). Mix in oil. Gradually add 3 cups flour and salt, processing until smooth ball forms, and dough comes away from sides of processor. If dough is sticky, add remaining flour and process until smooth ball forms. Process 30 seconds longer to knead. (If dough is dry, add warm water, 1 tablespoon at a time.)
Place dough into oiled bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and set in warm, draft-free place. Let dough rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch dough down and divide into 4 pieces. Shape each piece into ball; keep covered with kitchen towel. Working with 1 piece of dough at a time, roll or stretch dough into an 8-inch circle.
To grill for pizzas, spray dough with nonstick cooking spray. Place on hot greased grill. Cook over high heat 5 minutes. Using tongs, turn dough over. Spread with barbecue sauce and sprinkle with choice of toppings. Cook about 5 minutes longer until dough is browned and crisp.
Tip: Pizza dough can be frozen up to 4 months. Divide dough into portions and wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Thaw thoroughly in refrigerator before using.
